I guess it's alright for some. But the new changes are extremely inconvenient for me. The self checkout is alright for a few items but when I have a buggy full of produce that needs to be weighed or looked up, it's very annoying. I don't have experience in the grocery check out department. The problem is that early morning shoppers have no choice but to self checkout because no lines are open. This takes my shopping from convenient to double the time just for checkout. You'd think food lion could find someone who has experience or maybe a little more skilled than I am. Instead, I spend as much time weighing produce as it takes for me to shop the entire store while 6 employees stand and watch the snow. Unfortunately, in today's world, there are less and less options because these chains have destroyed local businesses who put customers first. Food lion.... please stop with the fake "hometown place" you try to pass yourself off as. You're just a smaller version of Walmart. Get em in. Get em out.

Newly remodeled. Store is very clean and the cashier's and management are all very nice and professional! Tara Walker really took care of my issue I n a timely manner and was so friendly . They do have self checkout now which I did have a difficult time .please note I am not so great with any type of technology 😒 There were plenty of customers who were able to use the self check out just fine. There was also enough cashier's working do you do have a choice! Produce looked good Deli was busy and everything I purchased from deli was spot on! So great place in my opinion!!
