We have been working with Cynde for homeowners insurance as we are having our roof replaced. She explained all the details of hurricane wind mitigation and wrote us a policy that covers our needs and reduces cost. Cynde is very professional and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. We looks forward to her and the rest of the staff to assist us in future.

Amber was super helpful in walking me through the process of the auto quote, it's not something I've had to do before. She was sweet and asked if I was okay. I feel very comfortable trusting the Clifton and Lewis Insurance Group and recommend them! You'll be in great hands!

The answer is simple regarding education, normally the more education you have the better you drive based on statistical data. Your occupation matters because some types of work have a tendency to use their vehicles more often and may even border on being used as a commercial vehicle (such as carpenter’s, pizza delivery etc.)
The reason is simple, the longer a person has been driving the more likely they are to be a good driver. As anyone who has learned to drive it is not something that you learn overnight. Another thing is to consider that insurance companies are looking for at least 3 years of driving history so that they can get a better idea of your driving history. If they only have a year or two, they think they cannot get a full picture of your ability to drive safely. One consideration which insurance companies make on its own without asking you, which goes back to driver’s license, is that insurance companies in Florida like to see if you have driven in Florida for at least three years. If you have had a Florida license for less than three years they take this in consideration when they give you a quote. The reason for this is that Florida is a more difficult place to drive safely than other states and countries (Canada).
Yes this is considered a claim under your insurance and therefore may raise your rates in the future. This claim would fall under Other Than Collision (Comp) Coverage which is a coverage that every car should have because it's inexpensive and is needed in the state of Florida for natural disasters
It is illegal for independent insurance agents to charge you a fee for switching insurances. Clifton and Lewis will never charge clients if they're wanting to switch carriers.
