They take your money and don’t respond. When asked, they say they never committed to a timeframe in writing. Be sure to get their commitments in writing. Our neighborhood is plagued with pools at 1-2 years of construction and no response, not due to material shortages. Just simply zero responses from anyone in their office. Many of the 5star reviews from 3 weeks ago are employees or family. Take a look at Yelp reviews and you will see many upset customers. Stay away or prepare to be frustrated.

Horrible Experience. In January 2021 we signed a contract with Atlas pools to build and complete the contract by July 15th 2021 and it is now September 2022 and we have yet to finalize or receive all promised goods and punch list completion. During the past 19 months it has been a rollercoaster of zero follow up, failed promises, missed deadlines, and a threat to place a lien on the property for failure to make final payment. During this time there has been zero follow up to update the status of the people. We would have to reach out to request an update. Sometimes they would not respond so we would have to go to the sales office for response. Atlas used numerous excuses as to why they were not able to finish our pool, from industry shortages, lack of control of the contractors, and even blaming the lack of organization on their own employees. The spill over on our pool clearly had the wrong colored grout, which I told the contractor during installation (September 2021), yet he continued to finish the job because I was unable to get a hold of Atlas to stop the work. Atlas has apologized and made promises to fix the spill over numerous times, have taken templates to replace the spill over with granite, to make up for the delays and errors, but still nothing. Finally in June 2022 I was told by Atlas that if I wanted the spill over replaced with granite or marble I would now have to pay and they will only fix the grout. Finally the threats of the lien came, without notice or final pool review, and they demanded payment via email, even though they had not completed the job. The punch list was signed on 11.22.21 and we are still waiting for the final few items to be completed and we continue to have to follow up because they never return emails or calls. I have all the emails and pictures saved to show the lack of communication and professionalism Atlas has shown over the past 19 months. We offered to call it even with the repairs and we would keep the final 5% but they refused

Please read this review if you are at all considering using Atlas/BM Wemple for any pool renovation projects. We had a straight forward pool/patio addition and went with BM Wemple due to Atlas being our original pool builder 10 years ago. How this company is still in business at this point is mind boggling. They have ZERO communication and customer service. We were told our renovation would start 8-10 weeks from signing the contract. We signed our contract with them the end of April and it is now 20 weeks later, and they have not even filed a permit with the county. We have received 2 partial responses (not actually answering any of our questions) from status update requests promising someone would reach out by end of day and that didn’t happen. We have tried dozens of times over the last 4 months to reach the project manager, Pat Rothermel. He is completely unresponsive via email or voice mail. His supervisor Nick Bowers has yet to return a single email or voicemail despite numerous attempts. We have tried to reach both through the office and that has proven to be equally unsuccessful. We have reached out to any and all contacts we can track down within the company and still zero response. Had someone at the company reached out to us and explained there were delays we could understand in today’s economy, however the fact that no one will acknowledge and respond to our inquires is completely unacceptable. If you chose to do business with this company, I hope you have a good attorney.

By far the worst company I have ever dealt with in my 58 years. This company will lie again and again. We have been under contract for 16 months and have been waiting on pebble tech install for 4 months. No one will ever respond to any text, email, or phone call. There is absolutely no supervision of completed work. Very poor workmanship on our tile and plumbing install. This company could care less about customer service. There in it for the money only. Please avoid them at all cost!! You were warned UPDATE: They showed up today with water in the pool for 2 days. Pumps don’t work?!?!! Technician says going to the truck to at least get the brush, vacuum, etc. He never came back, got in his truck and drove away. What the F!!!!! This company never ceases to amaze me with incompetence. I am getting a lawyer. Anyone what to file a class action against them. We have a good shot!
