This store is very big. They have a lot of shoes in this store. Men's, Women's and Children's. I could not find a lot of blouses I liked, but I enjoyed watching other customers shop at this Family Store.

Went for the first time recently and look forward to going back. I only browsed the housewares section and found more than I expected I would. The prices were reasonable. I got a lamp with a lampshade for less than $4. Didn't even realize that it was on sale until I was at checkout.

Have always had a good experience donating items at this location. They're not too picky and despite the back being messy the actual retail store isn't. The bins do become overstuffed which most likely and very unfortunately, leads to problems and damage of items and if there is anything I wish was different, this would be it. The employees are always very friendly and appreciative. I made my first furniture drop off here this week and they assisted in carrying the piece over which was extraordinarily helpful. The shopping experience has always been positive. No complaints. Organized compared to other nearby thrift stores!
Have very nice formal dinning table with expandable leaf, 6 matching chairs.
Is SA the appropriate place to donate? Is furniture given/sold to needy families or sold to public and $ used to help the needy?

It is sold to the public and the money is used to help needy people, however some of those in need come in with what's called a voucher. With a voucher they are able to get some of the furniture (or clothing) in the store without having to pay for it.

Do you donate to cancer patients beds and furniture?
Do you have trouble getting the SA to call you back when offering donations? I have called several times & really do want to give to a Christian organization, especially when businesses like Belks refused to permit SA
