Full on weekends, but great base camp location. Creek close enough to hear, nice trails through campground. All dirt, no pavement.

Nice and remote, full site over Memorial Day weekend. Nearby forest service roads are popular for ATV+. Sites for all sizes of groups. Wildlife frequent the site, don't leave food out. Take Evans-Riceville Road in, Logging Creek road is much more treacherous.

Questions & Answers

What would satisfy their food storage requirements here?

Joel Hurtado | Oct 9, 2020
Todd Martin | Oct 10, 2020

Depends on where you are. Like Yellowstone wants you to store your food and any bloody or fishy clothes up a tree. That would be the safest.

Is there cell service

99% of campgrounds there are no cell service

No, it is a first come first serve campground. Once you find an open site, you pay your fee at the entrance of the campground at the self serve fee station.

How many sites are there here? Do all sites have fire pits? Can sites be reserved for one week? Cost with Senior federal card?

Kay Kessel | Feb 7, 2020
June Cope | Feb 8, 2020

Not sure on the number of sights. All the sights I can remember had fire pits yes. I think it is 1st come 1st use but if I remember the sign correct there is a discount with senior in the party. I think there is a website for this spot with better information.
