Went to get my car inspected today (well within open hours) and they are closed with a cone in front of the drive area for no reason. It’s a Thursday and not a random holiday. Are you not paying your employees or something nj government?

Attempted to go today and was greeted by a cone and sign that read "station closed". Security guard came over and announced that all the employees quit this morning and the station is closed indefinitely. He told me to call the main office everyday to check the status.

In and out in 10 minutes. The tech I had told me do not come when they first open and you will never have a long wait.
Can I show proof of insurance from phone or do I need a printed copy

As long as you show one valid proof of insurance weather it be by phone pdf file, speak with a representative ( last resort), or the best the obvious best would be to have shiney new car inspection sticker.
With proof of insurance you can make the phone call and the fiber would speak with them but your best bet is to keep the updated not expired car insurance in your glove box.
No matter what you will be asked for valid license, insurance, and registration. Check your inspection every now and then as well.
Can you pass inspection if u have 2inch wheel spacer on

Gonna depend how uptight the inspector is. As far as i know vehicle's tires can not extend past the body of the vehicle, but they may have relaxed that law.
I don't see why not. You must present a current vehicle registration and current insurance for the vehicle. Also your drivers license. They are inspecting the vehicle not you. Also right now the inspection is a joke . I just went through and they didn't inspect Anything! Only one person per lane and they are just getting the cars through as fast as possible with minimal effort.
No cost but if ur car doesn't pass the they give u paperwork to go get it checked out and May cost u $150. For two years or u can fix it what ever is going on with ur car and ND go back to DMV inspection and is free
They answer most questions on the website to go inside you must have an appointment for something that they are offering at this time inspections are just first come first serve super easy and super fast
Yes, so long as it is not major or obstructing your view. You might want to check out safelite. I used them years ago, they come to my home; do good work and my insurance covered it no cost to me. It was a crack caused by stone on 295.
I have my permit an I was scheduled to take my road test on my birthday, feb 20. I got there at 10:30 wich was my scheduled time and was told that they are not open for road test on saturdays. How long will it take to get my test rescheduled?

I went to the inspection station in Cherry Hill about a week ago & they were open.
Yes. You arrive at the DMV and you are given a reservation number outside of the building. You must go in person to get the reservation number. They will tell you the approximate time your number will be called. You can leave the Dmv while waiting for your number. They will text you when you need to return. You can also renew on line if your registration has not expired. Check there first.
Is there a grace period to get your car inspected after the expiration date?
Do you have to have an appointment to get car inspected

No appointment necessary. Just drive up and get in line.
It does get to be a long wait sometimes. If you're able to be there first thing when they open in the morning, you should get through in under an hour.
Not at Hampton Rd. Hampton Rd only does inspections & road tests. Executive Campus in Cherry Hill is a Vehicle Center. Some locations are vehicle centers: registrations & titles, etc. Others are licensing centers: drivers licenses, written tests, etc.
No. The sticker on the vehicle has the experation month and year. However, when you get your registraion renewal in the mail you should check the sticker on your vehicle(s).
I just did repairs to my car to take care of my check engine light. I have driven the car for a few days but not sure if it has completed a drive cycle. Can I take it in for inspection and if it is not ready, just come back another time?

As long as the light is off you can take it threw but if the check engine light is still on they will not pass it.
What’s with the Cherry Hill location being closed this morning at their inspection station, February 12, 2018. Also the telephone number you have posted tells you that the number is out of service. What’ up!!! Are you open for business.

They should be open. Did you try the number on the NJ MVS site?
