As you'll read in other reviews, security has a huge chip on their shoulder - very aggressive, very scary. I was accosted in the middle of a show, grabbed from behind on the shoulder and told to "stop vaping"...? I don't vape - I told him that and he had the creepiest most devious smile come across his face, like he was enjoying the fact I was escalating the situation (in his mind). I told him to search my pockets if he really wanted. He laughed and said "I'm not accusing you of anything - but if I see it out one more time you're out". Everyone I was with was all confused, none of us vape. Read the other reviews - you'll see people accosted in similar situations. Later in the show there was some people getting rowdy on the floor - 1 guy in particular was taking it too far - the same security guard came down and from behind grabbed THE WRONG guy on the shoulder and led him out. We were all trying to flag him down, but he was bee-lining this kid out fast (who had the most confused look on his face). I've been to 15+ shows here the overall attitude of the security has always been like this. It's never personally affected me, so I hadn't left a review until now.

It may depend on the show. Usually you can choose what option you want for tickets; if you choose e-tickets, then yes, they would be emailed to you.

No children under the age of 12. Some events have a higher age minimum.
School issued ID is not accepted. It has to be government issued for the sole purpose of having your date of birth. In the past i have used a school ID combined with my birth certificate though. You can always call the venue and ask them personally in case their rules have changed.
I've seen them 17 times at different venues...never an opening band
There is no seating at the town ballroom other than the VIP/Reserved section, which has some folding chairs.

You have time. They have I believe 3 openers and to be honest, you can get up front at anytime. Its a decent sized floor and won't get "packed" until the last opener.
Sometimes you can when in line but Usually they stay open until 5 on the day of the show then you just get them when you go inside...
Or you can take the train and get off at theater st. If you ride underground though you'll need to pay whatever the NFTA charges now.. Enjoy the show!
