Scam of a mortgage company. My mortgage was sold to Amerihome and their employees are untrained and openly admit so. Their policies are shaky at best but definitely unclear and trying to talk to someone always always always leads to a two hour wait and headache with multiple “that’s not my job” transfers. I own investment properties and have to say to loan entities now that I will not do business with them if they sell my mortgage to Amerihome. Filing a lawsuit against them for wrongful practices! My mortgage was originally 175,000 After four years of paying and one year of forbearance my payoff amount is now 182,000 . No one can explain why or how and obtaining any solid information is impossible. Update! After posting this review someone “from the presidents office” reached out to me. It shouldn’t have taken three years and 30 plus calls to get any results or follow up.

Not that they apper to care about there reviews. I was sent a refund for my escrow since according to them I had to much in my escrow. I informed them the data they had for my taxes were incorrect. They argued with me and said I had to cash the check. So after not being able to have it added back to my escrow I decided to deposit the check. Welp a few days after depositing the check it bounces and I get charged a fee for there bounced check. The customer care agent I spoke to put me on extremely long holds and was unable to assist at all. Then she said she would get a supervisor and that hold has bee about an hour. I've owned a few different houses and this is buy fare the worse mortgage company I've ever had to deal with. They were not my choice my loan was sold to them. Stay away from this company if you have a choice.

I re-finance with our Mortgage Co after plenty of calls from them,my mom died and i needed money to give her a Pleasant decent Memorial and we closed on Feb 7,2022 the money was supposed to be there on 2/11/2022 to this date we have ZERO Monies!!The lender said the fault is with OrangeCoast Title Company,The title company failed to use our voided check and missed 3 digits on our bank account But the lender the mortgage co said they can issue you a check if they really wanted to! I have done as the title has asked me to go to our bank and research the funds they talked to them told them we haven't had that money go into our acc! Its now Wells Fargo supposedly they are looking for their money! Its not a huge amount .But my Lord why do they make us beg for money that they know they made the mistake ..The lender will not help at all! do not re-finance with this Company because they wont help you get your money back!

Absolutely horrible. They processed my payment check but did not credit it to my account. Three months down the road and they still haven't figured it out. Meanwhile I'm out an entire mortgage payment.
