Previously, I've never heard the tall bearded gentleman who spoke this morning. However, he does have the wonderful capacity for saying the same 3 things over & over & over again. Work on your homiletics bro. If you're goind to be redundant try 20 minutes instead of 40. It's insulting & demeaning to posit that the Chinese are persecuting Christians. Here's this same bearded guy who probably doesn't speak Chinese, who's probably never been there & derives information from secondary sources and believes it to be true. Conversely, in the early 1980ties, I was a scholar-Christian associated with the U.N., who was interested in the Asian Pacific Basin. When China, sent emissaries to the UN to find scholars interested in their country they found me. A number of their universities called me and asked 'if I would like to come to their institution and help "China, grow & develop and become the world player in the global economy. I accepted and it was thrilling. I got to work with the some of the world's most brilliant students, speak at various institutions, hold-forth in a small-home church and interface with the Minister of Religion. At that time (1984-1986) there was an article in their Constitution indicating that you could no longer harm a "religious person" simply because they were religious. Churches were opening & persecution was held at bay. Hooraah, Dr. TWF.
