The park is well taken care of, clean, and has plenty of amenities for a variety of activities to fit the needs of any individual or family. There are both paved and gravel walkways and even an off-leash dog run, but my favorite feature are the many benches tucked in close to the pond surrounded by the beautiful trees and flowers. I definitely recommend Wapato for your next outdoor adventure!

Everytime I've been here my daughter has greatly enjoyed the playground and had other kids to play with. It's a friendly environment for parents as well. The park itself has a lot of offer; very large, running trails, forest, a dog park, playground, tables, a dock for walking on top of the water, etc. Parking at the dog park tends to be full, but there's a larger lot as well. The dock is accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. Friendly ducks and geese around (but don't feed them!).

No grills, but u can bring one
The water has been contaminated in the past, but I have not seen any notice lately that it is again.
You need to bring your own grill and propane. But yes you can BBQ there. The grills at the park have largely been locked up or removed to discourage use by the homeless.
Yes it is a fenced in area It has 2 sides One for big dogs and one for small dogs We take our dog there all the time he loves it he gets to run and he is a bolter to
You can rent 2 if them but it's like 150 an hour for the big one

I think it is only youth fishing but I don't think there are fish there any longer. I wouldn't eat anything out of there, pretty polluted from storm runoff.
Looks like they are replacing the dock or some construction lakeside.
