Hi Sylvia thank you for the question! What I recommend to all my clients is a nice soft powder brow over microblading. Microblading is the technique that gives you the individual hairs but we are finding out in the industry that it is not the best procedure when it heals. When you come in for your touchup, we are re-opening those little hair like strokes and that’s causing scar tissue. Powder brows on the other hand can be as light or as bold as you prefer. It is amazing for all skin types, lasts longer and is less invasive. I always have a free consultation before any procedure where I will map your face to find your perfect shape and we will go over color selection and I never do anything unless you approve. I make it my priority to have you comfortable with making this decision and go over everything with you so you understand the process.

Powder brows only can be done over an existing brow tattoo, however the old tattoo must be significantly faded for the pigment to show through and look natural. Please send me pictures of your brows in good lighting with no makeup so I can assess them better. How long ago did you have them done? You might need a color correction & only get a powder brow due to the fact microblading stokes will no longer stay on the skin. We'll discus in detail no worries and I've done this for many clients already with beautiful results!!

It doesn’t hurt as such, it is more a sensation. The process itself is not painful thanks to the numbing ointment that is applied. We take every precaution necessary to ensure the microblading procedure is as pain free as possible. A strong topical anaesthetic cream is used prior to and during the procedure to keep you as comfortable as possible. Some clients find the procedure a little uncomfortable while others report no discomfort at all.

Typically the procedure will take no longer then 3 hours. -> First 30 minutes are the consultation and then I apply the numbing cream and let it sit -> I will find the measurements of your face where your brow should begin, where the arch should be and then end (tail) -> I will draw on your shape according to your face structure and ALWAYS let you approve of it before beginning -> We'll also pick the perfect color for you together. I always stay conservative on the 1st procedure and then if you want go a little dark at the touch up - NEVER EVER USING BLACK AS AN OPTION!! -> The actual procedure on the brows will take about an hour and a half and I will also use a secondary numbing cream to ensure your comfort the entire way! ->Lastly I will go over the aftercare with you and send you away with a special after care kit for free - making sure you know how to take care of your new beautiful brows! -> In 4-6 weeks you'll book your touch up to perfect the brows! :)
