My husband died on July 1,2022. I still have not received a death certificate. This has been caused because of a complete breakdown in communication by the San Pedro office of the Neptune Society with me and the inefficiency of the staff in contacting me appropriate governmental agency. I look forward to providing more details to the staff involved.

The best experience. I highly recommend the services of the Neptune Society. Unfortunately, my family has used their services in the past and we've been extremely happy with them. My husband lost his battle with cancer and passed at home. They let me keep him home as I waited for his brother to arrive from Greece. He arrived, was able to see him and say goodbye. The two gentlemen that retrieved him were so respectful and gentle with him. The whole experience from my initial contact to purchasing the plan to collecting his ashes were pleasant. I'm considering purchasing their services for myself so when I pass, my son doesn't have to worry. If you believe in cremation, Neptune Society is where to go.

A funeral director does not need to handle the ashes. Usually they are provided to the loved ones for a scattering, burial, keeping at home or a number of other options.
A death certificate and cremation permit must be signed prior to cremation. Any delays may be out of our control, but Neptune Society walks you through every step, helping and guiding you through the process

Yes, you can still donate organs prior to cremation. We coordinate with all Tissue Banks. However, most organ donations take place at the medical facility where the death occurs, and the hospital arranges for the donation before turning over the deceased to us for cremation
