Very middle of the road. I've had a few items on their menu and tried some of the drinks on their menu. Don't expect anything that stands out, but that doesn't mean they're not worth it. I'll still visit here periodically as Mexican food is among my top favorites

My family and I have been coming here for decades, literally. Delicious Mexican comfort food, perfect, low-key ambiance, and lovely service. The folks who work here are just always the nicest! They always take extra care with a family member who has a food allergy. In the summers, sitting out in the back feels like a giant garden party with friends. If I have only one night in town, I always try to come here.

It is comforting to be able to go to a restaurant that is a neighborhood favorite. You are sure to run into friends. The inside decor is a bit odd and they have always had a large patio. The service is friendly but more than that. It is caring. I have a dietary restriction and they not only accommodated me but the winter wanted to be sure that I was well fed and happy with my dish. It creates a relaxed atmosphere that is like being at home. BTW, you can speak either English or Spanish there.
