In terms of the Pittsburg location, it's certainly not my favorite Safeway in my local area. A majority of the employees seem to care less about customer service, though many of the customers here are not very pleasant to be fair. It's the type of store where you grab what you need, pay and then get out. And forget trying to get Starbucks during peak hours because you will wait almost 20 minutes for your drink to be made. Overall, I've been to better Safeways.

the seafood is very fresh highly recommended very accommodating the cashiers are great not to mention Starbucks inside the store makes fabulous smoothies

Horrible place. Often has lines that ridiculosly long, and this place is the type that feels like it needs armed security yet the security do nothing when a fight does happen and they close before the signs say they do every single night. The only thing the guards do is tell you that you can't come in if you arrive at 11:49 even though they say that they close at 12

Threes a crowd signs hang over check out lines. Hahaha! They will not. 7 or 9 lanes, 95% of the time only 2 are open. Everthing is locked down in this Safeway. You have to hunt down a Safeway employee. Then that person pages someone else to unlock the aspirin. Selection is minimal. The store is small and always very crowded. Plan to wait 20 to 30 mins to have the cabinets unlocked. Another 20 to 30 mins in line. This Safeway gets zero stars.

If I has to guess I'd say... No. Safeway is a grocery store. They sell a wide variety of food items & for convience they do carry health & beauty items. They have lottery ticket vending machines & sell postage stamps but it seems a bit strange for them to be selling bus tickets.
