Clean and cheap motel. One block further you can also park for $16 instead of $20. The location is 1a.

You are definitely paying for location… motel had great off-street parking with a security guard at night. Rooms are very small but updated. Walls are paper-thin so plan on hearing your next door and upstairs neighbors. Location is fantastic though, half a block from N. Hollywood Blvd. and half a mile west of Thai Town.

Well my sugesion is you walk to redline station(like less then a mile) take redline to universal city, when you get above ground take the bridge and theres a tram that goes up for free, saves you parking money.
When you arrive at the Hotel you pay the total amount of the Hotel. In our case, only the whole amount could be paid, we were not given the option to divide it in two (we were 2 couples to a 2 queen bedroom)
When I went, the hotel parking garage was full, but they let me park temporarily to unload. I asked at the desk. They told me about street parking two blocks away. I parked, then noticed that the meter said "No parking". Luckily, I moved to a parking lot nearby. The next morning, I saw that the city was trimming trees on the street and had towed all of those cars. I would ask at the desk where there's a parking lot or garage.
Yes. And unsavory characters near the entrance and down the street. This was in April 2022.
If you are in Hollywood, in SUNSET Boulevard and Vermont you find plenty Motel 6 in the are.! Good luck....
Try motel6 in Hollywood, easy walk to theater(s), shopping on Hollywood Blvd. Been there, real clean, quiet rooms.

Check out is noon but they did extend it for me by 30 mins.
Basically you select two adults but chose the room with two queen beds. The kids up to 17 years old are free. At least this is what their site says

Parking below the hotel. $15 extra and it goes fast so reserve early if you want it.
I stay here every year and have never felt threatened in any way. I'm sure if you asked the front desk staff they would accommodate your request.

It's too far to walk, about 3-4 miles, but if you go to Hollywood Blvd, turn right, walk 3 blocks, and catch the red line, it will take you there in about 10 minutes.
