This is a fantastic store if you're into sewing or other fabric crafting. They even have leather and buttons and notions! There's so much to choose from and everything is discount priced. Staff is friendly and helpful, too.

This is such an awesome (and I do mean "awesome" in its actual definition, that it fills one with awe) resource. The selection of fabrics makes Joann look like the fabric selection at a gas station. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The prices are half off the marked price for most things, so it's more affordable than most fabric stores too. They didn't used to have much in the way of trims, notions, elastic, tools, etc, but now they have a better selection of all those than you'll find anywhere else. I was given this advice about Harris: if you find something you like, get it right away and get enough of it, because you might not find it again. There are easily over a million, maybe several million different textiles at this place, so another tip is to go alone. Don't bring anyone who's less into sewing than you are, because they'll be rushing you after you get through one or two aisles, not understanding that you've only just begun your shopping experience and you could easily stay for hours.

SR Harris is the best fabric store in a 5 state area! I have most generally encountered friendly, helpful staff. This is a fabric warehouse (literally), store with hundreds of thousands of yards of fabric in likely hundreds of thousands of varieties of fabric. So imagine being a friendly, knowledgeable, helpful employee in this building? Amazing! Not only that, I live 400 miles from this store. I bought some braided fringe and was 1’ short of what I needed. I called to see amongst all their products if anyone had time to see if there was more available. The friendly clerk told me to send her a picture and, “sure, I’ll go check and call you back”. Really a great place to shop if you are a fabric or craft person! It seems like they have something for everyone who is a seamstress! 10 out of 10 rating! Bravo!

No frills, self-service, and you need to go with a clear, but not rigid, idea of what you want. Within those parameters, the best prices for fabric you'll find for states around. I don't buy quilt fabric here (you could), but I've gotten …

It's fairly decent. There's a LOT but maybe only two or three types. Tons of lightweight tulle.
More than you will be able to sift through. It is an amazing place.
Large camo section but not sure if there is any transparent
I can cut foam. It's cheaper to get from Rochford Supply. They will cut it.
Your best bet would be to call them and ask. I'm not for sure on this one. They might but I'm not 100% sure. Sorry I couldn't help on this one.
If you want 1/8 of a yard you can do that. They have scraps you can buy like end of the bolt. No minimum that I know of. A little or a lot whatever you want. I say.
There is always a sale for 50% off regular priced fabrics. Every day.
Masks are required, with signs everywhere that it must cover your nose too!! (If you don't like wearing it with your nose covered - Don't Go! It's your choice!) They are still limiting the amount of people who can be in the shop at the same time. It's a one to one limit. (Meaning if one person leaves; a mom & child can't go in together. They must wait until another person leaves before entering.) I waited in line for 20 minutes but it was a Saturday morning) Cutting stations have bins for clean & dirty scissors & pens. They have clear barriers at checkout. Carts are cleaned after check out. Social distancing is being observed. I felt their safety practices were reasonable and respected.
They have everything
Probably. Their stock is constantly changing and they may have several gauges and weights.
All fabric is 50% off most cotton is about $12 dollars and 50% discount. Other varies ton of unique stuff live it. Lots of elastic all sizes and colors. Been going here for years love ♥️ it. 😀
They have a huge selection of quilting Cotton's, many with floral/botanical the last time I was in.
Is it for an awning or something similar? They have a large selection sunbrella outdoor upholstery and some sunbrella awning, I believe.
And why would you want to? This place is amazing you got to go in there and check it out there is more than you could ever imagine they've got it all!!!
They have quite a large selection hanging up on the wall near the check out area.
They give a 50% on regular fabric and rems are much less! I think that is very fair!
That depends on the size of the spool and type of thread. Call them for prices, please
Omg do they ever buffalo print a lot of NFL cartoon and discount prices way better then other places walmart also has some great fleece selection. NFL material $19.99 a yard prints any were from $10.99 to $14.99 a yards. But most of the time 60 percent off total price. Sid is one of the owner.
