I have to admit I had high expectations as It had been salute and then merged with hotel Mac. The staff was great as was the view as always but the menu has taken a big step backwards, a major part of it was now the burgers section, no filet mignon of any kind, no specials, and high prices. The food we got looked nice but wasn't anything to write home about. I'm so sad that so many of the east bay go to establishments have fallen victim to the times.

We stumbled across Lara’s for lunch when we went to the Richmond marina looking for a seafood restaurant. Wow what a find, the best clam chowder I’ve had in a long time, lots of yummy clams and not over powered with bacon. Soft shell crab sandwich was delicious as was the fish and chips, fresh fish with a light breading. Excellent cocktails and coffee to linger and watch the sailboats, definitely worth getting off the freeway and stopping at Lara’s. We’ll be back!

Absolutely 💯. I've watched sports @ the bar a number of times. They have 2 big T.V.'s in the bar 🍸

Hi Diane, Thank you for asking. We open 7 days a week. Lunch thru Dinner. When you indoor dining, we ask wearing masks when you enter with proof of vaccination.
They don't have a dress code, you can dress as you feel comfortable, but nowadays weather is cold so it's up to you. They have outdoor and indoor spaces. They are requesting full vaccinated if you want to stay indoor
