After drop off, while riding bike home, I am called to be let know my vehicle cannot be done today. Scheduled 3 weeks in advance for 9:30am appt done by 12:30pm same day. Scheduled my own jobs around this(I run my own company) Time frame rescheduled 3 times in 24hrs prior to appt. What am I supposed to tell my customers? I just lost half a day’s work because Safelite is a chaotic mess at best. Who gets to pay for that? Me.

When we first got our windshield replaced, our technician came to our house and was polite on the phone, but seemed to be struggling, as he was cursing as he replaced the windshield. When it was finished, there were tools left on our car, and the inside was filthy. We didn’t initially think anything of it, until we were driving and heard air leaking out of the windshield. When we called Safelite, we voiced our concerns. We were told to come to the nearest location so a technician could check. There was an obvious miscommunication, as when we got there, they seemed to think we had problems with our windshield wipers. We hadn’t even purchased any from them. On top of that, the manager, Darby, stated that she had no technicians, and we would need to go somewhere else another day, or make an appointment. We opted for an appointment, which was over a month from that day. A few weeks later, a friend stated he was able to get an appointment next day. I looked online and saw many appointments available much sooner, and rescheduled. Right from the start, the experience has been a roller coaster, and our windshield is still unsealed.

I had my semi truck was drivers side replaced due to cracks.I was informed to go online..but I called local safelite.that how I got a local rep to come to my house to replace windshield

Typically there is a small $35 charge when scheduling an appointment for mobile service.
Insurance usually pays for chip repairs. Paying out of pocket looks like it's about 80 bucks. Visit their website and run through the quote thing to get your actual cost.
