Great class on Sat, very hot but fun. Amazing work going on in the shop. Highly recommended. Fun to see someone who just loves what he does.

I’ve had kids as young as 6 attend with a parent. But, to get anywhere they need to be able to swing a hammer consistently.
I've had classes on making knives and axes. I've made arrow heads...but we can't do the bow or the arrow.
Most are $100.00 for the day.
I do classes one Saturday a month. But if you really want to learn the trade, there's a school in Charleston, SC that has a great program. American College of the Building Arts. https://acba.edu There are other schools that do week long programs...generally craft schools. ACBA is a real school and will give you the most complete program.
Mostly architectural metalwork...gates, railings, firescreens, etc. But we do a lot of oddball stuff too. Lighting, kitchen hoods, knives, axes, surgical instruments, tractor parts, blacksmith tools, whatever. I also do classes one Saturday a month Sept. thru April. I haven't had time for an apprentice...but maybe in the futrure.
