Nice little park. Picnic tables, playground. Picturesque pond (lake?) and pavilion.

Stopped in on my motorcycle for a sit and to enjoy a pipe. Nice fishing pond and picnic spot. A little playground equipment with an updated bathroom within the last few years. The park is carry in carry out so if you plan on coming and having a cookout remember your trash bag.

Great place to park and hike the Finger Lakes Trail. The trail is pretty well maintained and has fairly low traffic. Parking is free and there is a restroom and pavilion onsite. There is a heavy presence of ticks in this area so be on the watch and make sure to check yourself when done.

Nice view, but very hot, not much shade. Fishing wasn't any good and there were several dead fish near bank. Picnic tables weren't spread out very good either.

Yes perfect for that..
Sanford campground requires permits. Birdseye does not. The county owns the playground and parking lot. Can't camp in the playground area. Primitive camping only in the woods. Also 100 ft from a road or park entrance for your camp. Hope I was helpful
