Been using service for years and found out we have been getting charged for a cable box when we have never had TV from mediacom, called and the girl on the helpline agreed we shouldn't be charged for a box that we never should have received but her supervisor said we got the box and there is nothing we can do except keep paying for it. Not to mention the outrages overage charges we get sometimes.

Good support. Lousy product. Intermittent-net not internet. Seems like a second or third tier service. Insane fast in bursts, and ONLY in bursts. Minimum of 20 dropped connections daily, total loss for minutes, this is after a tech came out and balanced the "rats-nest" coaxial wiring. Not usable for anything serious. Overall score: Streaming HBO D, Video chat F. Sending a live stream - forget it. Intermittent-net.

Been with them for 2 years and have never got the speeds I pay even after MULTIPLE tech visits still nothing.when can we get better internet providers in lake county? Update-its now 6-27-22 Per mediacom- "the line that goes underneath the house needs to be replaced. Me- "awesome let's do it" Mediacom "sorry sir but we don't provide those services, you need to dig a trench from the service box in your front yard to the crawl space on the side of your house , the trench must be 3-4 ft deep, also you have to buy pipe that the new cable will run through and install that as well. Bring Xfinity to clearlake please 🙏

I dont have Internet but The Cable Service is Great!
Xfinity will be here about 2 -3 yrs, i cant wait. And they dont partner up with no one.
Wish I knew, I been nitpicking if I should switch myself.. Lately the service interrupts a lot! Plus Dish is Cheaper and gives you more channels!!!

Mediacom might not have it? But look up PAC12 COMCAST ,DISH,AND MORE HAVE IT. IT ALSO TALKS ABOUT ANDROID SO YOUR PHONE MIGHT GET IT . NOW ADAYS YOU BUY EVETYTHING / FREE TRIAL. BUT THATA ALL I KNOW. I LOOKED IT UP

No power in some areas which causes our amplifiers to shut down..so until power comes back then no mediacom

Mediacom is way better than Comcast. My biggest complaint is the service is spotty and unreliable. The price is great.
If Mediacom actually took their paying customers seriously more people would know about it and trolls wouldn't need to post questions and answer them to drum up business. The lake county office is especially bad, with a Facebook group dedicated to how poorly this company is run(Mediacon). There are MANY complaints on Google and the BBB.Fix your customer services skills, equipment, and services before trying to push an app. Personally I wouldn't download the app since this company already sells their customer's information to so many third party companies.
