Had another great experience at Fillory Yarn! Went in with a vague notion of what I wanted (a yarn to match a variegated skein bought earlier to “evoke water” for an Assigned Pooling project). Immediately I was helped by Heather who took me to the section and helped me pick out a yarn that totally evoked water! My variegated was Knitted Wit Broken Earth and the watery one I bought was Mod Yarns Ramona. She was so helpful, kind, enthusiastic and creative! This is the second time I have annoyingly come in with a vague description and she helped to pick yarns that have made my most fantastic pieces! Last time it was “fuzzy poncho” and she helped me get two yarns when held in combination are the dreamiest and softest combo ever! Noro Okunoshima and Shibui Silk Cloud. Every time I go there, everyone is so nice and helpful! The yarns are beautiful and plentiful. They have so many notions and other fun things!

A great place to get specialty yarn and your every day yarn. The workers are always very helpful and excited about the projects you are working on. Definitely go here if you are a beginner and need some guidance along with a expert that had specific needs.
