Hi Ms. De Leon, thank you for your message. Before I can help you, I need to know what you are referring to when you mention the first few digits of an account number. Do you want to know how those numbers are determined for each account? Thank you. Judy Shay, Public Affairs Director, Palmdale Water District

My pressure regulatrr next to main line is broken who fixes that

Thank you for contacting us. Homeowners are responsible for repairs on their side of the meter, including their pressure regulators. Pressure regulators can be purchased at hardware stores for about $60-$130. It can be done by a handy homeowner, gardener or plumber. Make sure the water is turned off before the pressure regulator is replaced. Water can be turned off at the isolation valve, if there is one, or by calling PWD to turn it off at the main. PWD Customer Care Reps can be reached at 661-947-4111.

Where does the water come from?

From the meter at curb, no leaks at meter, runs underground till first outdoor spigot then enters house. The cold tee's off before entering HWH. Cold feeds directly off cold supply. Hot water heater is less than year old FYI
