I have used Shaffer oil Co from Windber for the past few years that I've lived near Central City, Somerset County. Never had any complaints, they always went above and beyond to make sure I was warm😊 i ran out of oil 48 hours ago and I called there emergency number yesterday but no one ever got back to me. Had my somerset County assistant worker call in my crisis grant and when I called Shaffers to see when they were delivering it, the gentleman said earliest available delivery is tomorrow. I explained i was freezing and totally out of oil so he said if 8 paid the $75 after hour's charge they could deliver today. Well they delivered my fuel oil at 4:02 , charged me $75 after hour's fee and they don't close till 4:30 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 WHAT????

Shawn at the somerset office is wonderful... been a customer for 3 years now... I just ran out of fuel and I am not able 2 pay until the 20th. Wasn't even a question. He will b here tomorrow... payment on the 20th. No where else would do that. Drivers r always great. Great local company with great people.
