Besides the vary comfortable room the team members were very friendly. First time I've stayed at a hotel that the free breakfast wasn't coffee and cereal. Really good food, and it wsd different everyday.

Only stayed for the night on the way to Myrtle Beach. Lady at the front desk Vee was funny and kind and even gave us a deal, which was way better than the original price. Room was clean, beds comfortable, although, pretty hard to get into from the height, and with a grandmother and me with back problems it wasn’t that fun. Other than that it was good. Can’t rate the pool cause we only stopped here to sleep, but it looks beautiful. Breakfast decent. Definitely would stay again if we pass through NC again.

I came to this hotel for my Brother, Sherriff James E. Clemmons, Jr.'s Bridge Dedication Ceremony. The room was made up, but it had a slight odor. The carpets are in need of a good cleaning. There was no microwave oven as depicted in the advertisement. My fridge was leaning as if one of the legs were missing. The ac wasn't as cold as the temp setting showed. I didn't complain, because it should have already been addressed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom water was hot. Plenty of parking and close to shopping and good eats. I would stay here again, but would demand a microwave be in the room and some type of air freshener or carpet deodorizer.

I write a lot of reviews, but none as important as this one. At 2am, two wet, bone tired travelers wearily walked into this hotel and asked for a room. When I tell you the staff went above and beyond, I mean it. At 3am, they are cleaning a room and making up a bed for us. One kept our sad souls entertained -- you see, we had just came from saying our final goodbyes to my daddy, and tried to make it back home but the sadness, tears, and rain stopped us-- and kept me from sobbing all over the floor, while another who had already worked a shift and a half hustled in and got us a place to sleep ready. We gratefully sank into the bed at 3am. When I drifted into a tear stained pillow sleep, those sheets were crisp, the bedding clean and the pillows fluffed. At 3am she had not only made up a space to sleep, but done it perfectly. We enjoyed a full hot breakfast in the morning and the lady at the desk again made me feel beautiful & special, when I know my hair was a mess, my eyes blood shot and tear swollen. And we left to a chorus of thanks for staying with us honey, we're sorry about your daddy. If you need a hotel within Rockingham, jump on the chance to stay here ... And tell the angels at the front desk that long haired Adrienne said hello.
