STAY AWAY. DO NOT USE. By far the worst possible option for a property manager. Unresponsive about appointments for repairs, charge late fees when they are NOT supposed to. Their employees have a massive attitude problem. I’ve experienced them as a renter and seen my family work with them as the landlords. They’re awful on either side. Said they sent landscapers out to do the lawn while no one was on the property. I was on the property, no one ever came. I’ve done the lawns myself for over a year now. My back fence burned down and became a security issue for my dogs and I. They sent a guy out after two days with a couple pallets to patch up the holes. It has been over a month now and the fence is not repaired. I’ve had a plumbing issue pending for months now that still has not been resolved. If I could leave negative stars I would. Stay far away from this company and it’s bad service, overcharges and sneaky fees.

Let me start by saying, Duke, your taking the name Dukes of hazard to a whoole new level my dude. & you are terrible at what you do, true hazard to the industry. How are you still employed? Is beyond me. Horrible, but I mean HORRIBLE customer service. Staff follows his lead. Applied for this place, meeting multiple requirements, income, docs requested, etc. when we provided our rental references. They did a POOR job in actually getting I contact with them. Well after 2 weeks of waiting we were denied. Now the reception Julie gave us 1 reason, & Duke my boy gave us another. We knew they were lying when they said our current landlord gave us a bad recommendation when in fact it was the contrary. She forwarded us the email. Reason: bad rental references. The lady did a bad job articulating who wrote the referral. We were shocked. Reached out to our old landlord, & 1 said they never got a call. The other said they wrote a great referral. We read the good referral. When I reached out to Duke to let him know he was huffing & puffing! I told him I felt discriminated , well he wasn’t having it. Haha. Like he didn’t just take my money & did a terrible job qualifying good candidates. He said they reached a certain landlord That had bad things to say & gave me the specifics. I reached out to my old landlord , which by the way we have a great relationship & even offered to rent again in the future. Well they started they spoke to my landlord when In fact they spoke to someone else. My la slots never spoke to them! My guy Duke wasn’t having it, didn’t wanna hear it, & simply turned us down & took the $. Anyways, we found something better. With perfect rental history we were easily approved elsewhere. It’s like God was looking out. I don’t recommend this company , if you can avoid them, please do! I mean read the comments. My man Duke making headlines in here hahA. Duuuke, ya gotta find something you like to do maaaan. Aahhh man 🤦🏻‍♂️

My experience with liberty property management was straight forward. I was pleased. I got most of my security deposit back which was a win for me. Apartment was well kept and clean. However, the bathroom tile was really bad. It needed a replacement before I moved in. Still it wasn't really an issue since the rest of the apartment was actually in good shape. However, I'm glad they didn't charge me for the bathroom tiles knowing it wasn't my doing. It was honest of them not to charge me. They did charge for blinds that needed replacement well before I even moved in but I did remove some of the blinds parts to put a curtain. . So I'm sure that's why I was charged for the blinds. They weren't necessarily replaced so they didn't charge me for that they just charged me for Labor of putting it back together since I took it apart. But it wasn't much. Overall my experience was a positive one.

Some of their properties are absolutely gross. Cockroaches everywhere, electrical not up to code, water lines broken, mold, broken sprinklers, VERY old paint that never gets redone. Make sure you do a thorough check on the property before you use them to rent a home. I highly suggest getting a lawyer on board as well. They are ok with giving notice to vacate, even when the tenant has a disability. We came so close to being homeless because of them. They seem to think its ok to rent homes in such poor condition. Go elsewhere if you have the opportunity! Completely rude staff.
