I disconnected an old address when I moved and called twice to verify that the old account would be turned off and removed from my name. I’ve received two bills now past the date that I had them disconnect it and called again and was told that I never called to cancel it. I called TWICE! And spoke to two different people. And then called again. And am now calling AGAIN and waiting 3 hours on hold because I am not paying another bill for a house that I don’t own and don’t live at. Absolutely ridiculous. We really need to have multiple utility providers to go through because I would switch from this garbage company in a heartbeat.

If there was a negative star I would be inclined to rate Ohio Edison that. The wait times are astronomical with no direct phone number to departments. You have to take a day off of work to reach anyone.

On the west side of Youngstown someone hit a pole. The pole was left cracked in half and left like that and no one is there. We have no power. Yall are seriously messed up

I have tried online for over an hour and a half to enroll in automatic credit card payments. The website doesn’t work. I call 800 numbers and wait for a person to help me enroll. The customer service rep transfers me to the billing center. And while I wait the call disconnects. I have tried 4 times and all 4 calls disconnected. And there’s no office in Youngstown, Ohio I can go to in person. What a horrible company. Ron

First Energy Solutions (I'm assuming it says FES) is you electric supplier (Generation Supply) and OE is the distributor. These two part make up your entire service. You as a consumer can choose your supplier but not distributor. The lines, the poles and equipment belong to OE. So you can't choose who will deliver your electricity to you home.
No, they do not care about prompt service or the order payment has been recieved, they only care about the most convenient route for their employees

It depends on what time they turn it off. If they turn it off after 12:30pm, say they turn it off at 1pm even if you promptly make a payment they will force you to go at least 24hrs
There is not an office where you can pay. Giant Eagle and most convenience stores can take a payment.
Yes!!! Im on it and it helps alot
