Green Ductors Air Duct and Dryer Vent Cleaning

Enjoyed chatting with Gene last week and setting up appointment. Confirmed appointment three different ways subsequently. Confirmed by email, by text and again by text this morning. Appointment was for arrival between 9 and 10 am. By 10:15 nobody had shown up ( and no calls ) so I called Gene back. He said he’d call tech and call me back. Well he didn’t call me back but he did text. Tech now due to arrive “closer to 11am”. He’s leaving Van Nuys right now it’s a 25 minute drive away. 11 am arrives and no tech. Instead I get a phone call from the guy saying he’s 10 minutes out. He arrives about 11:30. Gene had told me the job would take 2-3 hours. I had medical appointment I had to leave for at 1:45. ( Gene knew this ). I explained this to technician who said no problem I’ll be done in an hour??? How could he possibly do in an hour what Gene had said would take 2-3 hours. ( and how could I justify $500 for an hours work). I said no thanks and cancelled guy on my doorstep. 5 minutes later I get a call from a NY number, I’m in California, I answer it. It’s another guy from this company asking if I’d like to reschedule. I said sure but it has to be tomorrow and a different technician. He could do tomorrow but same technician. I thought “ Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me “. I totally understand if technician has other life issues to deal with. But he hadn’t bothered to call me himself not once until he was 2 hours and 15 minutes late. Just text the customer, tell the truth. I’m going to be late for personal reasons do you still want me to come now or would another time suit better ? That’s all it takes guys. Customer Service is not rocket science.
