I have always wanted to hunt wild boar but life go in the way :) That life delay worked to my advantage because this year two of my sons were old enough to join me (my 14 year old to actually hunt and my 12 year old for the experience). I opted to try for a Russian Boar while my son opted for a management hog. Our guide Kurt was thorough, patient, and professional. We both had a successful hunt and the entire experience from arrival to departure was an experience filled with lifetime memories for my sons and myself. A big thanks to the entire Tioga Ranch Family for a wonderful experience and we look forward to returning soon.

Everyone were top notch. Our guide Chase was great at helping us every step of the way. The lodge was spotless, the food was excellent. We will come again.

This is a great, family operation. The lodge was nice and comfortable, the guides were experienced and friendly. This is a great place to get away to with friends who want to try out a different type of hunt.

This was my first time hunting and had a great experience. Kurt was an outstanding guide, patient and let me do things in a pace I was comfortable with. Lodging was also excellent, had 3 outstanding home cooked meals. Will definitely come back for another hunt next winter!

Try to reserve your date as far in advance as possible, a lot of dates do book full, especially weekends. You can also make a reservation if available the day before the hunt.
Any Rifle, Bow, Muzzleloader, or Shotgun with slugs that you would use for deer hunting will work great or any handguns .357 or larger.
The only difference is color phases, Russian boar are grizzly bear colored while the European boar come in many different color phases.
Our average hunt is 1-2 days, depending on the type of animal and your weapon of choice.
Any center fire Rifle .223 or larger will work great, Pistols have to be at least a .357 Caliber, and any 20 gauge or larger Shotgun.
Usually 10 years old when accompanied by a guardian.
Yes we have a beautiful lodge on site, and when you stay with us all your meals are included. We have a custom butcher shop on site, we can provide custom cuts, sausage, bacon, and vacuum sealing.
Firearms are usually 60-110 yards, and most archery shots are 20-30 yards.
We hunt Boar, Rams, Buffalo, and many exotics year round.

That I would ask someone from the ranch..They cut them up and would have a better answer...I usually go for a trophy boar..Luve weight is about 250 and it fills up my 150 quart cooler once a cut..
Depending on the animal your hunting ? Lodging is a $120 per person with breakfast/ lunch and dinner...I would call or email Mark at Tioga. He can answer all your questions...

The hunts are usually 2 days and on the second day they cut your boar up to what you want for style you like....loins,chops,steaks,ribs,roasts,ham and bacon...It usually takes about an hour?? Thats while you eat breakfast the next morning..Bring a Big cooler and or 2 medium... Depends on what size boar you are after..I usually go for a Trophy Boar,250pounds and bring a 150 at cooler..They will cut and shrink wrap your meat and pack it on ice in your cooler..You never touch the meat til you put it in your freezer..Hope this helps?? Good luck on your hunt..
Give him time to check his voice mail. He will respond. He usually answer in a day or two.
The hunt is guaranteed, every member (3) of our group chose to walk and hunt. I saw no less than 35 pigs before one presented an opportunity.
Robert, A 120-140" deer would be in our copper class $2500.00. The reason we do not price our deer of just inches is because not all 150" bucks are the same, our classes are also determined by whether they are a typical or non-typical.
No bear hunts at the ranch, we do have a couple great spots we can recommend
Been 3x, going again!! :-) :-) 1 so so meal in all that,
Yes, you could be with him the whole time.
Figure $1000 for the hunt, 1 night lodging, meals, butchering, and vacuum packing. Meat is delicious. 🐷🐷
