Great place to kick back and decompress. My only issue is to be care if you are out by yourself and it is getting late. Be aware of your surrounding at night.

Amazing place!

Went in to get my compound bow serviced after making an appointment. It's currently appointment only due to covid. It was my first time there and it was an awesome experience even though i didn't purchase anything. The customer service and knowledge of the sport was phenomenal. Parking is no problem and they have a very good selection. I definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in archery. They cater to beginners and veterans. Prices are fair and they also have an indoor range. However the range isn't allowed to open until CA gives the ok. Can't wait till it does though.

Many order from Lancaster Archery Supply. You can also shop in person at Turners Outdoorsman in Oxnard, Pasadena or West Covina or at Hi-Tech Archery in Fullerton. Those "local" shops are all around an hour drive from Rancho Park. I've heard good reports about Bullock's Archery in Ventura, also.
Rancho Park Archers are currently prohibited from lending equipment by Covid restrictions in our agreement with the LA Department of Recreation and Parks. We don't know when we will again be allowed to lend equipment.
The range is open 8 am to 10 pm daily. No equipment rentals are currently permitted, and there are no introductory group classes, but individual archers with their own equipment may come and practice without charge. Just follow the safety rules posted on each range, wear a face mask and practice 6-foot social distancing.
If you have your own equipment, the range is free to use for individual practice.
I believe the introductory class is free on Saturdays. After that I believe you must pay five dollars to rent equipment unless you have your own.
If you visiting no
Yes, you can find all classes on their calendar. https://www.ranchoparkarchers.org/calendar/
No crossbows are not allowed.
After you take their beginner's safety course (free) you can use their equipment free of charge. They do take donations.
Yes
Class is FREE. Equipment rental is also FREE for the next two visits. After that, the cost to rent is $5 per session. Anyone who owns equipment, can come and use the facilities free of charge. I believe the min. age is 10. You MUST take the class before using the range and you'll receive a card to grant you admission.
It is free to the public.
