They have nearly everything you need and their paint/plumbing departments are very very experienced if you get the right person. Watch out though - sometimes an employee will try hitting on you as they did with my wife. It doesn’t progress, but it annoys her so much that we go to a different home depot when we can now.

9 human checkout lanes all closed and 4 self service check lanes for all us bothersome customers apparently. This isn't a self serve kind of place... I'll take my business to Lowes from now on.

In my experience they will make one cut. For instance they will rip a 4×8 sheet in half for you.
Wooden packs of 5, Plastic packs of 20. Both are in asile 36 not on shelf but cardboard displays.
Depending on when you go, because there is a manager for each shift. Go there and ask for the manager at the customer service desk
