I used to really enjoy this place. This past weekend would have been fun except for the group of guys that made it very trashy with how they were acting. We all like to have a good time but acting like kids and being just nasty in view of everyone thinking its cute ruins it for some people. Some people don't want to see guys acting like that. All of us are not trashy and it give new people the impression, that is what the place is all about. Have a little more respect for for yourself and for others. Especially the white guy that loves to let people know that he is in the military. I would think you would have a little more class then that. But over all the weekend was great. I just hope those guys are not there Labor Day weekend and act like that again.

Had an incredible stay over the weekend. Sounds like the owners have great plans to improve the place, although it’s already pretty good. The locals/residents make the place. We’ve visited other campgrounds and have never received the level of hospitality and inclusiveness from the permanent residents. Cannot wait to return.

This is a Members only, clothing optional, males only, RV park and residence. They offer several lodging options for visitors. From cabins to small hotel style rooms in different buildings. This includes breakfast and dinner up the hill at a beautiful 50-year-old wooden Lodge with indoor and outdoor seating. They have private, as well as community showers. They also have a bath house with sauna and steam room. There is also a dome house converted into a pub dance floor and room with a pool table. There is a DJ providing music at the pool and the pub during event weekends. The residents spend their own money to keep the alcohol, events, and prizes flowing. The classic evening shot crawl is endless fun followed by an after-party serving hot food. The residences are set on three different levels in the side of a mountain. It is cute, secluded, and private. It's the people that live here full time who make this a wonderful place! They host several annual events, which are endless fun! The accommodations leave a bit to be desired, but that's not what this is about. The staff is absolutely wonderful (once you get past the "gatekeeper") and they seem to always be working, no matter what time of day or night. I don't know how they accomplish it all? Maintenance, cleaning, and cooking! A place of this size certainly needs double the meager 4 person staff, who resides on site. There are only 4 sites for overnight RV visitors. They have a large tent camping area, but access to set up is a challenge, being behind the pool area. I especially liked the steep challenging hiking trail in the mountains which goes around the entire park.

Our first time experience here was overall good. We have been to many different gay campgrounds so this review is based off of experience with others. First off the seasonals were amazing. They truly made our weekend. Facilities on the other hand were much tired and lacking compared to other camps we’ve stayed. The pool was the biggest concern. Water was murky and honestly a health concern since it’s obvious that filtration isn’t working correctly. The dance hall was top notch and the stay was a good value overall. Please work on the pool and we will give it a second try!

No Timberfell has no wifi and there are only certain places you are able to get a signal

Is it true that they don't offer a weekly or a monthly rate? Their daily rate seems reasonable, but inquired about a month this winter and was told that it'd be the daily rate x 30. That'd be 2.5x the going rate of any gay campground. Shame if true!

What's up with all the post on FB by employees about drugs and such. If this the norm, I definitely wouldn't want to visit. Is it normal for employees to post stuff like this to FB? Alot of the clients to timberfell are discreet.

I was tgere last month. I didn't see any drug use, but did see an employee that was creating a lot if drama about something perceived. I dont expect him to last, he seems to be all about attention and drama. Apart from him is was a wonderful time, i go every year and have a blast. The rest of the staff are great as are tge residents! Dont stop going just because of drama queen. We need to keep these wonderful places open so we can all enjoy them!

I am unsure of the meal package price, but you are able to add amenities to your package. I would recommend doing it before check in/registration though.

My husband and went in October for Halloween weekend theme witch was a joke, pricing was high for tent camping and had to run a extension cord from the bathroom to our tent. The tent sites were poorly kept, their bathrooms were like boiler room and very nasty and not operational. With our experience we only stayed for night which we paid for a weekend I would not recommend that Campground ever.
