I work for another staffing agency but wanted to also work for this company to finish out my career as I’m 58 but still a very hard worker. The HR lady called me but gave me a hard time just because I had a 3 month gap in work history to care for my husband who had cancer. She never asked how he was now or showed any empathy at all she just said she would email me for 1 more reference. It took over a month for me to get that email. I did send another reference and mind you I sent 3 additional and all RN’’ and ADON but I’ve not heard anything else from them. I’ve prayed about it and even asked myself do I even wish to work for a company so cold and uncaring?

So the day staff they have and their hiring manager is nice and will tell you that you can have ANY of your reference call at any time of day. Even after hours as long as they know your first and last name for the reference. Well today I had 3 of my references call when they got off work. One was around 4pm and made it through. The other two were after 6 pm and the lady that was working the phone sat there and said, “ Oh this is night shift we don’t do reference calls. You gonna have to wait until morning” and hung up the phone on the other two references. So with that said I would not advice working with this agency considering you get lied to right from the hiring process. Makes me wonder what else they are lying about. I would hate for a family member or facility to be working with this agency. As an agency employee myself for the past 7 years. I know agency employees are the last line for a facility to keep their doors open and to keep, to the best of our capabilities, safe worker to patient ratios. Today is 1/26/22
