I love this theater because it's always clean. It's not an overwhelming big theater, so seat is good. Lots of goodies at the concession stand, and great matinee prices!

Went to see Downton Abbey but never got to finish the movie because of unexpected guest that started squeaking behind us then we heard a thump and jumped out of our seats and left. It was section H. Scary!! Told attendant and manager. They looked guilty, not surprised. Manger said we could get refund and we did. I guess it was a rat.

I haven't been here in years but came to watch Scream (2022) and it was exactly as I remembered it. Small with a friendly staff and in a great location - uptown Whittier. Seats are comfortable and you're allowed to reserve via app or website which makes sitting with friends or family a breeze. It's also very clean.

I'm from out of town, and as soon as I found this cinema on Google maps - I knew I was going!
I rewatched 2 movies just to really take in the atmosphere and enjoy it all.
I'm in love. I wish we had a theater like this in Arizona. But alas, I soaked in the retro vibes, and had a blast. None of my photos were edited. This place is just that beautiful.
Before 12pm it's $6. Before 6pm it's $8 and after 6pm it's $12. Bargain Tuesday and Thursday all shows are $6. Wednesdays are senior days and tickets are $5.
Drinks and ICEES are $6 to $7, hotdogs $4, kid packs $6 to $7, popcorn $6 and up, candies are $3 to $6. Pretzels and ice cream I'm not sure. Combos are $20 and up but $3 off when you join their rewards program which is free. You get free refills on large drinks and large popcorn.
Sometimes charity organizations will do ticket raffles and giveaways, but the Cinema is a for-profit business. I understand sometimes employees are allowed free viewings if you're interested in working there.
Only $6 all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays and $12 regular price. $11 students/child 3-11 $9/Sr. $6. And for $6 you can get a"kids" pack, which is a small drink, small popcorn, and either mini m&ms or Starburst candy. For an additional $1, you can upgrade to a medium drink and another small popcorn! And you don't have to be a kid! Lol and the popcorn is the best! 👍 And they offer free shake on powder flavors!

As I was told by management, they do sometimes so the best thing to do is take the tickets there and ask at the ticket booth. If there are no restrictions on the pass then more than likely yes. I hope this helped and enjoy the movie.
What number do I call to speak with someone about lost and found. This number doesn't offer the option

You call the theater, they will check the lost and found for you. You can get the listing for the theater on Google. Up Town Whittier Starlight Theatre. They are very friendly.
You can rent the theatre for a movie performance, I think!
There is an open space to the left of the theatre or across the street you might be able to use for a performance.
You would have to contact The City of Whittier administration at their City Hall for that info.
