The airport closes after the last arrival, which occurs shortly after midnight. It reopens before the first departure around 3:00AM. In other words there isn't a need to have staff on site to monitor the building for that window of time.

There are taxis all day in and around the city though not always parked before and after flights. They are however under 15 minutes away once phoned. Also there are rental cars always available.
