This is quite the impressive mansion! The old wood is so beautiful! I would have loved to take some pictures but not allowed. I will go back when we can visit the tea room. There is a good gift shop as well.

The tour explained the entire history of that area. There is a lot of displays highlighting the ethnic heritage of the community. I understand the museum is fantastic around Christmas time.

I think the Museum is still closed for Renovations. My husband is doing work there. But, call - better to be safe. If they answer it might be open. We were told end of Aug.

Do we need reservations? There is a group of us coming next Saturday the 15th. Maximum of 12 or so people.

According to the Strawberry Hill Museum website, the Museum and Tea Room are currently closed from May 20 to August 3, 2019, for restoration repairs :( They will both reopen the first week of August. Looks like your group should make different plans for what to do together next Saturday. I hope you can reschedule for another time. The museum is unique and full of Kansas City history.
