I take all my scrap metal and anything else with metal that I’d otherwise throw away or take to the dump to City Scrap. Great payouts and the staff are always friendly and ready to help unload. City Scrap pays you for the scrap instead of you paying the dump to dispose of it. City Scrap is also located close to the dump so it’s just as convenient to get to. The dump is actually getting paid twice for the metal because you pay the dump and then the dump takes it to City Scrap and gets paid again

We will not charge for this service and do not pay for the weight of the item being presented for recycling. If you have the refrigerant removed by a certified refrigerant abatement company and can provide a certificate of removal, we will pay you our current steel price for the small appliance. The motherboards are worth so much the memory cards are worth so much the processor chips are worth so much the connectors are worth so much it's all a different price to dvd-roms the floppies the power supplies you make less on the power supplies if you cut the wires off but the wires are worth a little more than what you get on the power supply and if you really need to know you can call 525-4322 that's City Scrap Metal phone number
They will take stoves washer and dryers and they take refrigerators but you got to have a certification where you either drain the freon or someone else drain the freon the letter from them or they will not take a refrigerator
I don't work there but I've been going there ever since they open they will buy cordless tools as motor breakage but I do not know whether to buy phone batteries the only place I know they'll take phone batteries at Batteries Plus and they don't pay for them

I don't work for City Scrap Metal I'm an independent holler I hauled to them but they'll pick it up with a dumpster if you got enough to fill a 40 yard dumpster otherwise you have to take it to them depends on what you got whether it's worth having someone haul it for you
