A season pass is very inexpensive. It pays for itself in no time. We love going to the swim beach with the kids. He can fish and we can swim!!! Whole family wins!

The Lake is open 24-7 all year according to the website I read. Wouldn't take my answer for 100%. However I wasn't out there to camp, unfortunately, but I did read on the website, if you're an astronomer, that they have a huge building, near the south end, that they have the strongest telescope in KS (?). They also have lambs and a petting zoo like spot for kids. Sorry I don't really have an answer to the camping, but I can say this lake has it all. It absolutely gorgeous and the sunsets are amazing. Especially this time of the year. I can't wait till the leaves change colors so I can capture those in my pictures. Have fun camping though. You'll love it there, I am sure. 😊
