Written on behalf of my mother, Anne Levy: You must meet this doctor! Dr. Raheem gives you results. I am an 80 year old woman who has been slowing down, and was spending more time in my chair, due to my constant pain in both my knees. I knew I did not want to have my knees replaced, that was for sure! But I was suffering more due to the pain in my knees and walking less and less each day. My husband was now doing most of the food shopping and errands. I went to speak to Dr. Raheem to see what could be done to get me out of my chair. He was very patient with me as he is with all his other arthritis patients. He explained to me that a procedure called PRP was a stem cell injection of my own stem cells that were injected into my knees. This procedure was done several times. Dr. Raheem was always carefully checking the ultrasound so he could see exactly where my stem cells were needed. It was very exciting to see the cartilage growing in my knees.
