As an agency staff member I can honestly say it was horrendous under the previous owner / occupier's. The staff were fantastic but the building itself outdated and not the cleanest. (This was over 7yrs ago so things have hopefully changed since then).

I been there twice..best ever staff. Friendly helpful and caring.. the building might not be the newest , but what good does it do you when a building is gold and silver on the inside and out BUT the staff sucks? I rather have a brass and copper one with a super staff.. I would go there again and again Thank you for all you did for me

Final update 4 star place. I'll explain towards the end. Ok both the hospital and skilled nursing are great. The staff here are good at their jobs. From what I have seen and heard. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you are ok each day. I was in both sides for 11 months. I had a very bad infection called MRSA. Von the head wound care nurse along with the main wound care doctor. Was able to get the infection under control and stop it all together. After a while I was transfered to the skilled nursing side. As a result of my infection I have a stage 4 wound which is bad as it gets. Now the healing. A stage 4 can take years to heal. Well under the care of God as well as the whole staff it started to get better. Yes my beliefs in God I know who helped the biggest in this. The staff, doc Goldstein, and the nurses played their part. Brenda, Tony, ester, David. Along with a couple of others where great. I forget their names sorry. Their asst d.o.n. Landon does his job great. He gets out and checks on each patient. And if something isn't right he tries his best to fix it. The food what can I saw it is hospital food nothing special about it. PT and ot staff does their best even with the lack of certain equipment. Sam the guys who does the it is cool as hell. I think I never seen him not smile. Now the reason why 4 stars not 5. I have a ostomy bag. I was informed that the CEO didn't not like the smell. Well gee how did she think I like it. Got into it with both the social worker and the main d.o.n ( director of nursing) over the smell. Now keep in mind this is new to me. Hardly no one taken the time to explain about ostomy. Was shown how to empty and burp the bag. According to the d.o.n. I emptied it to much. Well gee I never was told about that. Most of what I know now about ostomy info came from reading and watching you tube on ostomy. The week I was transfered this happened first the social worker then the d.o.n the next day. Wednesday I found out I was being transfered out. I spoke about this. And was told if I didn't take it I might never leave. Big mistake on her part. I knew better. But I felt I was no longer welcomed here. So I said to hell with the place. And the funny thing she listened to the c.e.o. got rid of me. Over my ostomy. The asst don had to buy me a automatic room air refresher. Because of the smell the CEO didn't like. And she is a nurse?? Oh well it is history, now I am looking into 3 places close to home. I'll know soon if not I am cool where I am at.

Great staff, very clean, and everyone was incredibly helpful.

No idea but Promise Hospital would treat like any other medical facility and provide an anti inflammatory balm ot ointment to contain the said infection
In the entire facility? There is a skilled nursing facility and a Long Term Acute Care Hospital
They let you visit 24/7. Do bigtime research on where you go for this kind of care, we had to be on top of the staff every single day to make sure my father in law was being cared for, we were up there daily. They are also severely understaffed, at least they were 3-4 weeks ago, at one point they had 2 NA's for 29 patients. If you aren't able to be there everyday, I wod reccomend another facility. Their specialists are pretty great, but the rest of the care was mediocre at best.....
Kristen Barrett is the CEO.
