Very disappointed. I ordered a halter that was way too big on Dec 13. I received it and it did not fit, so I shipped it back on Dec 28 with a note on the original receipt to exchange for a different size. It is now Feb 12 and I have learned that they finally just refunded my order with no halter. TWO MONTHS later and I still have no halter. This delay is excessive, even with the covid issues, that so many small businesses are experiencing. It is unfortunate because the company has a good selection, but if it takes 6 weeks for them to even receive an incorrect item and then not get one shipped out is unacceptable. I do not give out bad reviews as I am an avid supporter of small business, but I will be taking my business elsewhere where I can get timely and accurate returns that do not take 2 months.

PURCHASED A GIFT FOR MY DRESSAGE FRIEND IN THE NETHERLANDS. CALLLED THE STORE AND ASKED IF THEY SHIPPED INT'L AND WAS TOLD ABSOLUTELY. I ORDERED 2 ITEMS, A STOCK TIE AND A SILK SCARF. THEN, THE NIGHTMARE BEGAN! I WAS CHARGED FOR FEDEX INT'L EXPRESS SHIPPING BUT THEY SENT IT REGULAR USPS, WHICH TOOK NEARLY A MONTH TO GET THERE; WHEN IT GOT THERE MY FRIEND WAS REQUIRED TO PAY $60 TO PICK UP THE ITEM; TO TOP IT ALL OFF THE STORE DIDN'T PUT THE SILK SCARF IN THE PKG., DIDN'T MARK IT AS A GIFT AND DIDN'T SEND ME THE INVOICE FOR THE PURCHASE. BUT, THEY CERTAINLY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD FOR THE PURCHASE. I HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH PPL SO EMPTY-HEADED IN MY LIFE; I CALLED THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE IN MAINE AND NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. THEIR SALES PERSONNEL REFUSE TO TALK TO ME AS WELL AS THE REGIONAL MGR. I SPOKE TO THE FORMER OWNER OF THE STORE AND HE TOLD ME ABOUT THE INVESTMENT COMPANY THAT HAD PURCHASED DRESSAGE EXTENTIONS; DOVER SADDLERY. THEY HAVE NOT HEARD THE LAST OF THIS YET.

If you are interested in buying a pair of tall boots, I highly recommend Dressage Extensions. The representative I worked with was very knowledgeable and engaged. I had trouble finding a pair of tall boots in men's sizes online and so, on the recommendation of my trainer, I contacted Dressage Extensions about custom boots from Petrie. Gillian Sieker with the Retail Team assisted me through the process of taking the leg and foot measurements and selecting the materials. I liked Petrie's Sportive model since it zips from the back and Gillian endorsed that preference. She recommended that I go to the nearest Dover Saddlery shop for extra measurements which I did. After Gillian received the measurements she offered extremely valuable input on tweaking the measurements to ensure that the fit of the boots was right. Gillian sharing her personal experience in selecting and breaking in a pair of tall boots was reassuring. As the photo shows, I bought a great looking pair of boots. Do you need a german size 42?
They have a tremendous selection of boots, and all clothing. The folks there are always extremely friendly and helpful. I really like having it so close to where are horses are.
