I am beyond impressed and grateful for EPHG and the staff that works here. I brought my dog in and we ended up getting emergency surgery done. While it was a rollercoaster and felt extremely stressful, the staff was polite, sympathetic, and attentive throughout the whole process from intake to discharge, and even afterwards during recovery. They’ve really made an emergency situation feel a lot less scary, and God forbid my dog and I ever find ourselves in another situation like this, I would have no hesitation going to them. It’s good to note that they aren’t necessarily 24/7. They operate in the same vicinity as another vet practice, so during the day hours it’s a speciality practice and in the evening is when it becomes the ER. So they’re definitely a good option if you can’t get to your primary vet over the weekend or after hours.

This place is the worst animal hospital I have ever been to. They make you wait forever in the parking lot and are not open like they say they are. The hours they say they open they're not they make you sit there and say they're cleaning right now will be open again in 2 hours that's a bunch of bull.And they charge an arm and a leg. Go there again I think not!

I brought my German Sheperd in late tonight to be seen and assessed because I was concerned with his stomach and breathing . Carlos the tech who greeted us at the car was amazing! He assessed my dog and was patient while I asked many questions (and they were busy) I will definitely come back here after the experience I had tonight!

Called in the morning, said I need to call at 6pm. Called again and told me to come between 8-830. We went there, we're told they can't take my cat in because they're fully booked. At least you need to call me back to inform me, or don't tell me to come over at all! I mean everyone goes to an ER has an EMERGENCY! You can't just waste my time like this

Emergency clinics are expensive. I just recently had an experience with them and it seemed to be money driven, they wanted $500 dollars for test I got done the next day for $200. They also gave my pet a $90 shot for vomiting, when he did not have those symptoms at ALL. Check out Leave No Paws behind in West Covina. They took EXCELLENT care of my pet!
