The headline for this review should be "CM Engravers is a High-Integrity Business". Here's why I think so. I purchased a gift via Etsy for my daughter to memorialize her father and my husband of 50 years. The Etsy seller assured me three times that, as I had requested, it would be engraved. But it arrived without engraving. That meant that I had to find someone here in Palm Springs to do it. That wasn't easy to do with any confidence, since I'd never used an engraver previously. But I found a jeweler that recommended CM Engravers; they routinely used them for engraving work, they said. I had already found CM Engravers via a Google search, but was waiting for their call-back, so this recommendation from the jeweler gave me the confidence I needed. CM Engravers called and I explained what I needed done. Then I took it there and the owner, Carlos, and I discussed how the engraving (on the bottom of a glass paperweight) could potentially be accomplished. However, when Carlos called to tell me the engraving was ready for pick-up, he explained he'd not been able to do what he thought I was asking for. So we discussed alternatives and agreed on how he'd proceed. When I went to pick up the paperweight, Carlos refused to allow me to pay for it. His reasoning was that he'd not been able to do what I had first wanted. I insisted that the final solution was even better than what I'd originally asked for, but Carlos was firm on it being no charge. Frankly, I was blown away by Carlos' professionalism and integrity. Oh, and the engraving was outstanding. In addition, Carlos put little feet on the bottom of the paperweight to ensure that it didn't scratch the surface of what it was sitting on, going the extra mile and thinking about a potential need I hadn't even considered. Not only do I highly recommend CM Engravers, that's the only place I will consider taking my future engraving work.

When a close friend passed, I made a wooden box to hold his ashes. I wanted his photo and some text etched into the top. I took the box top and photo to CM Engravers, and they did a fantastic job. Carlos is very friendly and professional, and truly does great work. i will certainly use CM Engravers for any future engraving work i may need.
