Campground is mostly ALL residents. The middle camping area, where there is about 4 trees and the others 0 trees, so it will be a bit warm during the day. I think there are about 20 non residential sites. Nice cement picnic tables and bathrooms/showers are VERY nice! There are a lot of things to do, you have a good selection of games, INGROUND pool, they also have 2 paddle boats, 1 canoe, and 2 Kayaks to use free if you’re a camper, 8 acres of water. Go to the front office and get a key and they’ll give you an hour for each. There are also trails to go walking or golf carting. I gave it a 4 star only because quiet time is at 11p. Ummm.. that is not true. You have your party animals out here with loud music and your loud belligerent drunks. So therefore, 11p quiet time doesn’t exist and is not enforced. We turned our a/c on to cut out all noise from the outside. Overall it’s a nice place.

We normally try to stay at state parks. But sometimes there are no available were we are going. This campground was every bit as nice as a state park. Lots we average size. Mowed and clean. Bathrooms and showers looked to be fairly new remodel and very clean. Pool was crystal clear. Looks like they have activities planned pretty much every weekend. The seasonal sites are well maintained and it doesn't look like a mobile home park. If you ever want to camp in the Norwalk area you can't go wrong here. (Do bring extension cord and extra hose the plugins can be a little far from your site on some sites) They did have a loaner cord available for people who need them. Fishing pond, paddle boat, kayaks all for your use.

Really Enjoyed our stay. Campsites are a good size. They were remodeling shower rooms when were there ao a bit of a inconvenience but they were well kept. Plenty for everyone to do. Quiet hours start at 11pm but they seem to be lax on that. Could here golf carts and people partying till 2am.

Its was pretty nice. We rented a cabin. It had fridge and electric and microwave, we brought a space heater cause it was going to be cold and it was perfect. Nice view.. the grounds were pretty lively. But plenty of things to for kids to do as well. Big trail for golf karts in the back, would like to explore that.. But we enjoyed our stay. Will come back again.

Yes, on a leash
As early as you want if you reserved a site. Just remember to check in at office when it opens at 8:00 am if arriving before.
Indian Trails is on rt 250 just North of New London. It is about $1500 a season which includes water and electricity. You can leave your camper there on the off season for $150, which is cheaper than storing. Eve & Jon are wonderful people. The place is family friendly.
Last weekend of sept a Saturday we was gonna go but couldnt get time off
