Booked a hotel for my friend's wedding at Pier W. The location is great. It is walkable to Pier W and several other popular places in Lakewood. BUT there was no internet, no breakfast even though I had paid extra money online for breakfast, no shower head so there was too much water pressure and I couldn't adjust the direction, lastly the place just did not feel clean. I paid 178$ for two nights because of all the extra booking fees and breakfast charges, and it was honestly the worst hotel experience ever. I just can't get the fact that there was no wifi.... I still can't reach the management to get a refund on breakfast and they said they haven't had breakfast service since the beginning of covid. Then please take that option off online. I take my breakfast very seriously.

I just can't.. Please don't book a room here.... PLEASE listen to me.... I travel for personal and business purposes 10-15 weeks per year and this hotel is by far the worst hotel I have ever attempted to stay at. I walked in and took photos, returned my key, and booked another hotel in 20 minutes flat. My room smelled of wet dog and cigarettes, they attempted to cover the odor with some type of cleaner that gave me an immediate headache. I am by no means a prude either, I have been in some rough places in my life. I am begging you to reconsider..

FLEABAG MOTEL Don’t do it! Checked in and went to the room. On the short walk to the room everything was filthy, floor, walls, ceiling, doors, dark, dingy, paint peeling . I didn’t want to touch the door knob. Once in the room it stunk so bad. Dirty walls, cigarette burn on the toilet. Ceiling tiles broken and stained. Odd odor. I’ve NEVER been to a hotel this bad and I’m an economy traveler. Went to the front desk to get a refund, which I’ve never done. The lady said the manager does not give refunds but she could send us to the Travelodge. We go there. The lobby is clean, but the room was a “slight” upgrade from the other place. The woman there said the Days Inn was used to house the homeless during Covid. Homeless shouldn’t even live there, it was that bad. We left to go out to eat and decided to just book elsewhere. Days Inn should not have their name on this fleabag motel. The owner needs to either wreck this place or do a total renovation.

Stay elsewhere, not worth the (possible) cheaper rate. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!! * ROOMS ARE NOT AS NICE AS THE ROOMS PICTURED! Dark, Dirty and Dingy!! * ABSOLUTELY NO BREAKFAST MENTIONED or OFFERED for our stay. (Friday and Sunday) * First night felt like we slept on a box spring. * Second night, different room the bed was a bit better, but the room wasn't! Actually looks like a Half Way house converted into a Days Inn. Not the cleanliness or quality we expected. * BATHROOM; short supply on towels (only one large bath towel for double occupancy) requested extras, never came. A spot of blood on the wall. A loose sink faucet and missing shower fixtures (the switch thing; up for bath/down for shower) and broken drain - just a hole - no trim. Sorry, I thought about getting pictures but didn't. Just wanted to get out of there. * Curtains almost falling off window and rod. AC/Heater units, dirty. Rooms painted very dark and nice artwork, not on the walls, stored in closets.!? * GUEST SAFETY is also a low priority here. With that region, weather conditions, snow and rain; there were no mats/rugs placed on tiled entrances/exits, which created Slipping Hazards. * PARKING LOT (last night there, we had snow) guests were expected to dig their own way out, with a shovel provided for them, after asking for it. With a property and lot of this size, they should have had a snow blower or two on hand. But instead guests were stuck, stranded, and left to their own devices. My husband had to help a young lady back into her spot after her failed attempt on leaving. Another guest was stuck in the middle of the lot, after trying to leave. So if you decide to stay here, hope you have 4 Wheel Drive!
