I wish I could give it zero stars. The animals here are being abused. Dogs covered in feces (not to mention these are puppy mill dogs that are extremely overpriced) and multiple rodent cages with absolutely no bedding. There were gnats everywhere and the smell was unbearable. I submitted a request via Humane Ohio to take a look at this place. So disappointing, clearly the owners don’t care about the well-being of the pets in their care.

HORRID PLACE!! I spent well over $700 on starting a fish tank with DOTS.. Then I returned. THEY WILL NEVER SEE ANOTHER PENNY FROM ME!! I was there last Friday and returned today to see if the small animals had been taken care of. NOPE! THE Aquariums are filthy! The dogs are in there own feces, the Rats are over croweded and stuffed in FLITHY nasty bedding. Also breeding in 10 gallon tanks. If they don't have "time" which is what the gentleman just told me then it's implied they need to stop selling animals they are not able or educated on selling weather Feeder or pet. All the small animals are in disgusting filthy cages including - Guinea pigs, Mice, Gerbils, hamsters, ferrets, chinchilla, birds, reptiles. Go see for yourself!! Absolutely unacceptable. Heck Petland is more efficient at this rate. The fish tanks I have noticed are rarely mantenced either. I do Not Recommend this pet store to anyone looking for quality or decent customer service.

The workers are super kind. I have 2 cats from this location, they are both very healthy and beautiful cats. The only negative thing I have have to say is the rat enclosures. The tanks are overpopulated. Adding bigger tanks/hides for the rats are definitely needed. Overall the rest of the animals seem to be pretty well taken care of. A lot of the animals are rescues which is pretty heartwarming. The place smells pretty good and I have noticed a bunch of upgrades over the years of going there. Very exited to see what’s yet to come.

I am customer of Dot's Pet Center for over 7 years, in fact, my beautiful cat came from this place. Very friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to help staff. They do love animals and take a good care of their's fur babies.
