I used to like Ventura Ortho.I saw my doc in March and was going to have surgery.I didn’t hear from them so after about 6 weeks I started trying to call the surgery scheduler.She did call back to let me know she had me on the list and would call me again.Never happened.I called several times a week for the 5 months.Finally she gave me a date,then cancelled it by mistake.Eventually I was put on the schedule,but given the wrong orders-necessary tests weren’t done.I tried to tell her,but she closed her ears.At the Preop visit I finally got it straightened out,but by then there was danger of cancelling it again.I had one more discussion with the scheduler,and again given the wrong info.I called her manager ….really I just wanted an apology.She said they had contacted me and I did not respond.She told me she would tell the doc to be sure he writes correct orders,denying any mistake was made.I know it wasn’t my doc,because the orders were there at my Preop.I finally got an insincere apology,I felt like cancelling.Almost 6 months to get to surgery.
