I needed last minute alternations done on a bridesmaids dress and only had a week before the wedding. I stopped by Sue's based on the positive google reviews and I am extremely happy that I came here. When I arrived, I noticed how neat / quaint the shop was and I was immediately greeted by Sue. I tried on my dress and explained to Sue and Peter what I needed. I was in and out pretty quickly (<15 minutes) and the conversation was brief. I was initially concerned whether or not I communicated what I needed clearly since it was a brief conversation. However, when I came back a week later to get my dress, I tried it on in the store and it fit perfectly! Peter did a great job, he knew exactly what needed to be done and I would absolutely come back here again to get other things tailored.

They were nice but the shop felt uncomfortable, the tailor seemed rushed, I didn't get exactly what I wanted, and they were a little overpriced. Their work wasn't bad, just not perfect and the experience of working with them left something to be desired.

I fell in love with this Jacquemus linen wedding dress for my garden party wedding. When I first tried it on it was too big in some areas and too tight in others, I was really questioning whether it would even ever be able to fit me right! I had my heart set on it’s understated beauty and Sue’s worked actual magic on it and it now lays correctly and flatters my figure! I’m so impressed by the quality and detail. There was one issue with a miscommunication on a fitting time and they took care of me and my mom the next visit and made it right. I can’t recommend this specialty shop enough! Thank-you! :)

If you're looking for the best tailor in the area, stop right now, you found it. Sue's is the place where dreams come true. I would give Sue’s a billion stars if I could! Peter is the most talent, experienced, professional tailor I’ve ever experienced. I will never go anywhere else for my tailoring needs now. This is the place for all of your needs. 1. A+ Experience: I have a very expensive, extremely detailed/embellished jumpsuit that I needed altered to fit me better. I wish Sue’s popped up first when I searched for “tailors near me”. Unfortunately, I brought my garment to 4 different places since February, before I luckily came upon Sue’s. At each place before Sue’s, my alteration request was always immediately rejected. Every place said it was an “impossible” task that “no one could fix”. I went into Sue’s thinking I would be rejected again; however, with zero hesitation, Peter immediately knew what to do. I immediately felt welcomed, relieved, and in a judgement-free zone. No request is impossible for Peter. He took on what I thought was a “daunting” task, with full confidence. He explained to me thoroughly what needed to be done, and I could tell right away that his talent and experience in alterations was far beyond anyone else’s. To ensure my needs were met, Peter scheduled me in for a fitting before finalizing the alterations. I tried on the garment and was extremely excited because not only did it fit (finally!!!!) but even with the alterations it still looked like I bought it right off the runway. Peter knows EXACTLY what he is doing! 2. A+ Operations: Peter is also very understanding/emphatic when it comes to deadlines, their operations are so organized that they can fit in your alterations before your needed date. Even if you’re in a rush, Peter doesn’t sacrifice his attention to detail to meet a deadline. You can expect reliable and amazing results from Sue’s for any of your tailoring needs!! I've never had an issue with pricing, they are very reasonable when it comes to prices regardless of the task. 3. A+ Location: In addition to Peter and Sue’s 10/10 service and professionalism, I want to add that the location and space is also impeccable. The organization, cleanliness, and fitting rooms all surpassed my expectations. From the moment you walk in, you know you are getting amazing service based on the initial impressions of the space alone. 4. A+ Overall: Since my first interaction, I have brought in a pair of $800 jeans that he was able to alter to fit me more comfortably, and you can’t even tell it was altered! I recommend Sue’s to all of my friends, they are all impressed. One of them is going to see him this week!
