This place is a disaster. From language barrier, to no awareness of cleanliness, and unprofessional staff that is not trained from another country. First off, I was able to walk in and go straight to the room without anyone stopping me at night. No security!!!! Second not one staff member spoke English and I mean staff because I couldn’t tell who was a nurse, who was cleaning staff or who was front desk. So disorganized!!! Second my mother was admitted into a room that was not cleaned from the prior patient. Used gloves on the floor, stains on the floor, dust everywhere, used socks in a garbage bag in the closet, used toilet paper Roll, used cleaning products (shampoo bottle, bar of soap, etc). The place looks outdated and I was confused. Not sure if this was a hospice, nursing home or a rehab center. My mother went for rehabilitation. They have all the patients wear pampers and initially told my mother that bedpans were not available until we complained and miraculously they came out with one. Now the staff…members of the staff have not been in the US for more than 3 months from Cuba, but yet were hired to work in this facility. The staff was all over the place. They look right out of high school too. Too young and immature to be working in this field. I’m trying my hardest to get her out of here. Will recommend everyone to keep their loved ones away!

I like to highlight what is good and what is worthy of admiration. However, this experience with my grandmother in this center in Miami Lakes was painful, exhausting and full of questions such as… What training does the supposedly qualified personnel receive to work in these centers🫤?? , because in my personal experience they receive knowledge to treat a medical condition, and they may meet the goal, but in the process they can cause severe damage and trauma to the patient by the way they are treated, The director tried to improve the experience to my grandmother at the time we let people know about the barbarities that were happening there but unfortunately this is like a game, you win or lose and here it can't just be one that plays well, but everyone. Please 🙏, I hope that this review serves to improve the cleanliness of the rooms, the cracks of water in the sinks that runs towards the floor in the bathrooms, the hot water so that it is always available for the patient in the shower, do their homework when they have to do it and not rush because inspection comes later, treating older people with respect and patience, letting pride accept and correct haughty attitudes with patients and Miriam (Dispacher of this center) learn to talk with people who have disabilities , and have a little wisdom and common sense. My grandmother does not see and I make it clear to her when I am with her, and to explain where to sign you say: “Look at me Look at me” “Forget that you do not see” Wow Wow you did win the total disqualification award

Our activities and programs are created with residents in mind. We plan activities that suit the needs and capabilities of each resident. Families are encouraged to participate with residents. An activity calendar is provided so residents can stay informed on upcoming events like parties, movies, outings, ice cream socials, etc. As always, family and friends are invited and encouraged to attend.
