Would only honor the lifetime warranty on my washer drum if I used their repair service. Sears would cover the part but not the labor. Guess what labor through Sears would be more than washer is worth. They will not even accept a warranty claim unless I paid them to send a tech out, that of course would be waived if I used their service for the repair, never mind the fact its a repair I can do.

These service techs are very polite. BUT THEY ARE PART OF A SCAM. This is not Sears, it’s a contracted company: A&E Factory Services. After three visits and one repair, we’ve spent over $500 ($73 for a $40 pump) and our washing machine still doesn’t drain. The only people you can contact are in the Philippines. They have no power to take care of any problems. The local phone number goes straight overseas. This is in no way a Carlisle, PA company. We finally hired a private company out of York. A&E seems to be used by a lot of stores and companies: Sears, LG, Home Depot, Best Buy ETC. BEFORE YOU BUY ANY WARRANTY, ANYWHERE, make sure that they don’t use this company. They’re all over the country. (A&E Factory Services reviews are One star, across the board.)

Would not accommodate my schedule. Cancelled my appointment because they showed up at a time I specifically said I could not be there and then I was hung up on three times when I tried to reschedule. I would not use their service if they were the last repair shop on the planet.
